Nativitas Health Day Preventing Disease

Tlaxcala, Texas, August 26, 2023 (Editorial). –The Tlaxcala Health Department organized the “Jornada por tu Salud” in the city of Nativitas with the aim of providing medical services, guidance and free advice to protect the health of the people of Tlaxcala, which is Part of the Action Plan Sanitation in the Alto Atoyac Basin in the State of Tlaxcala (PAS 2023).

In the town square, people received preventive services for rapid tests for acute diarrheal disease (EDAS), human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), syphilis and hepatitis C; care for respiratory diseases, rabies and cat vaccinations.

In addition, oral health on family planning contraceptive methods, mental health advice, addiction issues, brushing techniques and flossing, fluoride application, adult and elderly care, gender equality, women’s programs and lectures are provided. Committee (CEA).

The purpose of these actions is to educate residents on how to prevent diseases caused by the pollution of the Zawapan-Atoyak River and their commitment to ensuring well-being and a healthy environment.
