Starting next season, the NBA League decided to introduce a new rule. Player participation policy aimed at limiting the number of rest periods NBA teams reserve for their stars. During the 82-game regular season, this rule will replace the Player Rest Policy in effect since the 2017-18 season.
The league decided to implement this innovation in combat load management and see its stars on the field in as many matches as possible, barring injury; a few months ago the NBA decided to introduce minimum number of games played, 65 to include a player in the season prize race or in the best season quintets, but with this rule, all matches will have to be considered important for the franchise and will be able to increase their appeal in the eyes of fans.
There are two criteria for determining a “star” player.: Received at least one All-Star Game call in the past three years or been named to an NBA team.

This rule will only affect 26 teams. THERE ARE A FEW EXCEPTIONS
The NBA has also introduced an exception to this rule in the case of back-to-back matches. The league can accept the rest one star if reported at least a week in advance: if the player is over 35 years old, has already played 34,000 regular season minutes in his career, has already played 1,000 or more games; According to these parameters, interested players will be: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, James Harden, Steph Curry, Mike Conley and DeMar DeRozan.
