At the end of the fourth stage of the Hautes-Alpes, two Italians lead the classification of the difficult multi-day race.

Michele Negri (Team MP Filtri) he leads the overall standings by 1’07 inches over the American Drake Duel and over 23 minutes in French Thomas Bono. In ninth place is Mattia Stoppa.

Among women, the district of Cuneo is in the lead. Samantha Arnaudo (Officine Mattio Cycling Club).

Both Italians are leading in the standings from the first stage.

In the meantime, the fifth stage is taking place with a timed ascent, leaving Serre Chevalier Briançon and arriving at the Col du Granon after 15 kilometers of race and 1200 meters of vertical drop.

Tomorrow, August 25, the sixth stage will end in Cuneo with the departure of Serra Chevalier Briançon. Participants will have to face the Izoar Pass.
