May 2023 of Netflix has many strings to his bow, starting with the highly anticipated TV series Queen Charlottespin-off of the more famous Bridgerton, or from Fubarstarring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Then there are the films destined to conquer our hearts with their adrenaline load such as The Mother starring Jennifer Lopez.

- Love Village (New) – from 02 May
A group of singles move into a house in the mountains to find out if the spark will strike in the peaceful and idyllic landscape, far from the realities of the world. The goal is to make the participants find eternal love by showing their true nature, crying, laughing and arguing. Will the guests be able to find their last love and leave home and village with a new soul mate? Netflix presents this new Japanese reality show for couples.
- The tailor (New) – from 02 May
The tailor tells the story of Peyami, a famous young tailor who inherited his grandfather’s talent and successful business. After the latter’s death, Peyami secretly takes his father with him to Istanbul and has to take care of him without anyone knowing the truth. On the run from an abusive relationship with Dimitri, Esvet mysteriously appears in the lives of the two men accompanied by her own secrets.

- Jewish Matchmaking (New) – from 03 May
The producers of Indian Matchmaking present the new series Jewish Matchmaking in which singles from the United States and Israel entrust their love life to a well-known marriage broker from the Jewish community. Will the traditional practice of shidduchim help them find a soul mate in today’s society?
- Sanctuary (New) – from 04 May
A desperate, strong boy becomes a sumo wrestler and wins fans over with his chutzpah…but disrupts an industry dominated by tradition.
- Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (New) – from 04 May
This prequel to the Bridgerton universe centers on Queen Charlotte’s rise to power and fame. The series tells how the young queen’s marriage to King George is the basis of a great love story and a social change thanks to which the world of high society was born Bridgerton.

- Queen Cleopatra (New) – from 10 May
Executive Producer Jada Pinkett Smith presents a docuseries on the life of known and legendary African queens. This season focuses on Queen Cleopatra, the most famous, powerful and misunderstood woman in the world, as well as a daring queen, whose beauty and love affairs eventually overshadowed her true strength: her intellect. Cleopatra’s legacy has been the subject of much academic debate, largely ignored by the world of Hollywood. But now this series reconsiders this fascinating side of her story.
- Dance Brothers (New) – from May 10th
Dance Brothers revolves around Roni (Roderick Kabanga) and Sakari (Samuel Kujala), two brothers trying to make a living as professional dancers. In order to finance their dreams, they decide to start a business that provides them with income, a roof and a space to train. Their special club and incredible dance choreography lead to quick success, but soon artistic ambitions and personal relationships collide with commercial demands. Business collides with passion. The brothers’ loyalty and love for each other will be tested by the one thing that has always brought them together: dance.
- Black Knight (New) – from May 12

- Queer Eye (Season 7) – from May 12
The Emmy Award-winning series Queer Eye returns for the seventh season, this time between beignets and Mardi Gras. Get all dressed up and ready to enjoy the Fantastic 5, which transforms the lives of New Orleans residents looking for a new beginning with audacity and lots of sequins.
- Rhythm+Flow: France (Season 2) – from May 17
A group of French rappers try their hand at freestyling, rhyming each other to win an incredible prize pool of 100,000 euros in a musical competition judged by SCH, Shay and Niska.
- XO, Kitty (New) – from May 18th
Teenage matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything about love. But after moving to the other side of the world to reunite with her boyfriend, she realizes that relationships are far more complicated when she’s involved firsthand.
- In silence (New) – from 19 May
Sergio Ciscar is released from prison six years after killing his parents when he was still a minor. During all this time he has not said a word or collaborated with justice, so the motives of the crime and his intentions remain a mystery. Young psychiatrist Ana Dussel and her team are tasked with determining the potential danger Sergio poses to society, secretly observing him day and night as if he were an animal.

A retired CIA agent discovers a family secret and is forced to take one last assignment. The series tackles universal family dynamics against a backdrop of espionage, action and humor.
- Yakitori (New) – Date to be announced
Akira Ihotsu is a boy who spends his days rebelling against an oppressive society on a future Earth, dominated and controlled by Shoren, the Trade Federation of the Pan-Star System. One day Akira is discovered by Pupkin, a “cook” for Shoren, and offers to join the planetary orbital infantry called the “Yakitori”, a brutal unit whose missions average 70% casualties. Along with outcasts from other nations, Akira rebels against her predetermined fate.

- Victim/Suspect – from 23 May
In her first solo investigation, journalist Rae de Leon uncovers a series of shocking events as she travels across the United States. Young girls who tell the police that they have been victims of sexual violence, instead of finding justice, are accused of making a false report, arrested and even jailed by the system that was supposed to protect them.
- Blood & Gold – from 26 May
Blood & Gold is set in the last days of the Second World War and tells the story of the German deserter Heinrich (Robert Maaser), the brave young peasant girl Elsa (Marie Hacke) and a group of Nazis. While returning home from the front to find his daughter, Heinrich comes across a fierce squad of SS. After being hung from a tree by their leader (Alexander Scheer), he is saved at the last moment by Elsa who hides him on her farm. Meanwhile, the SS go in search of a Jewish treasure in a nearby village, clashing with the annoyed inhabitants who want to keep the loot. Soon Heinrich and Elsa become reluctantly drawn into this adrenaline-pumping hunt for gold, culminating in a bloody showdown at the local church.
