Netflix has not revealed the details of the animated show. The Duffer brothers said in a statement: “We’ve always dreamed of an animated version of Stranger Things similar to the Saturday cartoons we loved when we were kids, and seeing that dream come true has been absolutely thrilling. We couldn’t be more surprised by what Eric Robles and his team have come up with – the scripts and artwork are amazing and we can’t wait to be able to share more with you! The adventure continues“.

The Duffers will also serve as executive producers alongside 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen.
