Sylvester Stallone is ready to get back into action in a…retirement home. The action movie hero par excellence will in fact be the protagonist and producer of Never too old to die, the first project of a multi-year agreement between the actor and Amazon Studios.

Sylvester Stallone – at the ripe old age of 76 years old – keep collecting roles actionmanaging to reconcile work and private life – from May 18 is expected on Paramount + The Family Stallone, reality show about his large family. In these hours, it has in fact been announced that the Hollywood star will return as the absolute protagonist in the new one Amazon Studios action comedy, Never too old to dieof which he will also be the producer.

Amazon Studios has therefore announced – officially – the start of production of Never too old to diewhich will see the action movie veteran go into action in a rest home for spies. After giving birth to cult sagas such as Rocky And RamboStallone – or rather, his character, a Cold War veteran – will in fact have to solve a mysterious murderwhich took place in a rest home, trying to protect his friends and unmasking the murderer who lives industurbato among them.

According to what was reported by Deadlines, Never too old to die is the first feature film by a multi-year agreement signed between Amazon Studios and Stallone’s production companythe Balboa Productions – which involves the creation of various types of projects, including reality shows, documentaries, TV series and films, of which Stallone will be director, producer or protagonist. With regard to Never too old to die however, a director has not yet been identified, nor has the name of any other cast member been reported. Stallionrecently appeared in Samaritan – atypical cinecomic distributed by Prime Video – and in the series Tulsa King – currently in progress -, is expected at the cinema in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3where he will reprise his role as Stakar Ogord, captain of the Ravagers and former teammate of Yondu, playing alongside the historic cast of the trilogy – Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. The star then decided not to take part in Creed III – third chapter of the spin-off saga of Rocky – and not to appear in upcoming side projects. So all that remains is to wait for more updates on Never too old to die and on the other projects that will arise from the partnership between Amazon and Stallone – which will obviously be available in streaming on Prime Video.
