New attacks on American bases in Syria

According to information obtained from local sources in Syria, the US army base at Harab Sir Airport in Hasakah and the Omar oil field in Deir ez-Zor were attacked with ground-to-surface weapons.

It was learned that missiles fell on the bases and their surroundings during the attacks, but no information was received about casualties or injuries. Security measures were tightened around the base.

According to Anatolia News Agency; Planes of unknown origin targeted the positions and convoys of Iranian-backed groups in Albukamal and the eastern Harabeesh, Hariri and Hamida areas during the period from October 3 to 10 and October 14.

In Syria, recent days have witnessed attacks on the bases where the US army is deployed in the Al-Tanf area, the Al-Malikiyah area near the Iraqi border, and the Al-Shaddadi area in Al-Hasakah Governorate and Deir ez-Zor Governorate, with armed drones. Unidentified vehicles (UAVs) and surface-to-surface weapons.

The lands of Deir ez-Zor east of the Euphrates River are under the occupation of the US-backed YPG/PKK terrorist organization, while the governorate’s center and other rural areas are under the control of the Assad regime and Iranian-backed groups.

Iranian-backed groups occasionally attack American bases on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River with missiles and drones.

Messages from Iran

On October 19, Iranian state television broadcast a report explaining how if Israeli attacks on Gaza do not stop, it may be attacked by its allies in the region, which Tehran calls “resistance forces.”

In the news video, it appeared on the map that Israel would be simultaneously targeted by missiles and drones by Hezbollah from the north, by militia forces in Iraq and Syria from the east, and by the Houthis in Yemen from the south.

Iran called several times at the highest levels to stop the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

In an October 17 speech, Iranian Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that “resistance forces” would take action if Israeli attacks continued.

In his statement on October 19, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian also expressed the possibility of the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts spilling over into the region.
