American supermodels Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner became the protagonists of Givenchy’s advertising campaign.
The French fashion house has unveiled the first footage from its spring/summer 2021 campaign, led by new creative director Matthew Williams.
In addition to Jenner and Hadid, the American model of South Sudanese origin Anok Yai, and rapper Playboi Carti took part in the filming of the advertising photoshoot.
The heroes of the campaign showcased bold looks from the brand’s new spring/summer collection, including the key trends of the season – oversized coats, classic high-waisted trousers, dresses with daring cutouts, and form-fitting tops.
The ad campaign was created by German Korean-born photographer Heji Shin and was inspired by the vintage aesthetic of the 90s.
“For me, fashion expresses a point of view in which formality and informality, construction and comfort coexist. My ideal understanding of luxury is to personalize clothes, not just wear them. In each of these shots, a character with a strong character poses in an image that reflects her essence: it is they who bring clothes to life, ”says Williams of the campaign.
The pictures images of models supplemented by key accessories of the season, including Antigona bag over her shoulder, Cut Out bag, sandals ” with three fingers”, which caused a lot of controversy after the debut of the collection, as well as the massive jewelry, including a large gold necklace, like Jenner.
