Square Enix today hosted a live broadcast from Japan celebrating the 30th anniversary of the JRPG Mana series, known in Japan as Seiken Densetsu.
First of all, producer Masaru Oyamada revealed that a new game from the Mana series for consoles is in development, but there is still a lot of work to be done before showing anything.
We are also receiving an announcement for an imminent free mobile game called Echoes of Mana for iOS and Android. It will be released worldwide in 2022, and it will be a stellar RPG that will include many of the characters from the entire series.
For those who love Legend of Mana, there was another surprise: an anime version called Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal is being developed by Warner Bros. Japan.
The animation will be done by Graphinica and the Yokohama Animation Laboratory, and you can see the key illustrations at the bottom of the post.
Finally, there will be an iOS and Android version of Trials of Mana, which will be released on July 15 at a price of 2940 yen (which is roughly $ 27). The controls and interface of the game have been adapted to make it easier to play on the touchscreen.
You can watch the entire live broadcast during which all the news was announced below.
