Pop star Dua Lipa, 27, made her debut as a couple on the red carpet at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival with her new boyfriend, French director Romain Gavras, 41. Rumors about their alleged relationship began last February when they were spotted leaving a party after the BAFTAs together. A source close to the couple told The Sun that the 27-year-old singer and the 41-year-old director “have been getting to know each other very quietly for months.” They like to spend time together. They’ve already met each other’s friends and they have a lot in common.”
Before Cannes, Dua Lipa and Romain Gavras were seen holding hands at the Saint Laurent show at the latest Paris Fashion Week, and at the end of April, they became Instagram officials by posting a photo together with a heart, posted by the singer among her Instagram stories.

Who wouldn’t take the news too well is Dua Lipa’s ex-boyfriend Anwar Hadid, 23, brother of the more famous Bella and Gigi. In Instagram stories, Anvar allegedly allowed himself a threatening phrase: “I try not to find him and not kill him,” he wrote next to the selfie. Fans immediately came up with a reference to Dua Lipa’s current partner. Hours later, however, Anwar denied all wrongdoing.
