The new vaccination tent event started in downtown Formosa and will run until Sunday, October 8, and will include vaccinations against influenza, pneumococcal and hepatitis B.
The two central points where these tents are placed are Plaza San Martín, at the intersection of 25 de Mayo Avenue and Fontana Street; and the pedestrian street of Rivadavia and the afternoon of May 25 4 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Finally, Arroyo recalled that the recommendation reached by the National Department of Health, the National Commission on Immunization and vaccine experts, is that everyone over the age of 50 should receive a booster vaccination every six months, regardless of the number of previous doses.
“That is, even if you have received two, three, four or five doses, people over 50 must get a booster dose every 6 months; for people under 50, that is, 6 months,” he noted. People aged 6 months to 49 years old with risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, transplant recipients and those undergoing cancer treatment will receive intensification every six months.
Likewise, booster shots are given once a year for people aged 6 months to 49 years without any health problems.
