New vaccination tent event in capital center runs until October 8 – Agenfor

This Thursday, the 28th, a new vaccination tent campaign starts in the center of the capital and will last until Sunday, October 8th, including vaccinations against influenza, pneumococcal and hepatitis B.

The two central points where these tents are placed are Plaza San Martín, at the intersection of Avenida 25 de Mayo and Fontana Street; and Rivadavia and 25 May Paseo Pedestrian from 4 to 7 p.m.

Finally, Arroyo recalled that the recommendation agreed by the National Department of Health with the National Immunization Committee and vaccine experts is that everyone over the age of 50 should receive a booster shot every six months, regardless of dose.

“That is, people over 50 must have a booster shot every six months, even if they have received two, three, four or five doses; “For those under 50, that’s six People aged between 6 months and 49 years with risk factors such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, transplant recipients and those undergoing oncology treatment will receive a booster every six months,” he noted.
