The All-Star break is over and teams are now preparing for the final stretch of the regular season. This is arguably the most critical moment of the entire season, and Golden State is off to a very shaky start to this stretch. However, the Warriors are slowly but surely showing signs of recovery. They have won eight of their last 10 games, including a thrilling victory over the division rival Los Angeles Lakers.

The Warriors defeated the Lakers 128-110 and achieved a crucial victory. While players like Andrew Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga made huge contributions, it was Stephen Curry who stole the show with a 32-point performance. In addition to scoring 32 points, Stephen also shot 8 points and hit a three-pointer on 6-for-13 shooting. Curry’s recent impressive performance has vaulted the Warriors into 10th place in the Western Conference standings. Kerr praised Curry’s excellent ball-handling and shooting abilities in December 2023. He said, “In terms of shooting and ball-handling, long-distance shooting and finishing in the paint, there’s never been anybody… I’ve never seen anybody with as much ball-handling ability as Stephen Curry.”

Kerr’s statement raised eyebrows among many fans as the 58-year-old HC has worked with NBA players such as Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen (Bulls), Tim Duncan and David Robinson (Spurs). The idols won a championship together. During her illustrious career, Steph created a unique legacy that few icons can match. After a sluggish start to the season, the Warriors have left themselves a mountain to climb. However, they have started to rise in a very promising way. With less than 30 games remaining, the Warriors currently sit 10th in the Western Conference standings with 28 wins in 56 games.
