“Probably due to the impact, there is an outbreak in Irag with a total of 290 contacts, of whom 101 are symptomatic, 98 are in isolation and 3 are in the intensive care unit ICU,” the regional department said.

Symptoms of influenza, commonly known as the flu, include sudden fever, chills, dry cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, muscle aches, extreme fatigue and general weakness.

Gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, may also occur, although they are less common. Fever and body aches are usually more noticeable than a common cold.

The flu can cause serious complications, especially in high-risk groups such as older adults, young children, and people with underlying medical conditions, so it’s important to seek medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist.

Likewise, the entity recalled that an 18-year-old young man died on February 3 and is still awaiting autopsy results to determine whether his death was related to the epidemic.
