
NuVoices
This year at the Armonie in Città, an evening dedicated to gospel and contemporary music will take place on Tuesday, August 22 at 20:30 in the courtyard of the Palazzo Morpurgo. A meeting included in the UdinEstate program featuring the NuVoices project led by Maestro Rudy Fantin. The NuVoices project is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a show that combines the vibrant voices of a well-known vocal ensemble. The repertoire is an international journey that includes famous songs from the history of world music – The Beatles and Justin Timberlake, passing through Italy – Georgia and Claudio Baglioni, with some important milestones in the homeland, Friuli-Venice. Giulia – Se joves di maridami – to then return to the traditional and modern American gospel. The sound and care of the project is in the hands of maestro Rudy Fantin. The guests of the NuVoices Music and Arts Global project, US Grammy winner Donald Lawrence, who have just returned successfully from London, will take the stage for an unforgettable show. The vocal ensemble was born in Udine as an evolution of the FVG Gospel Choir. The repertoire is varied and ranges from pop rock to traditional and contemporary gospel, from soul to Italian music, but always presented in a modern, innovative and original way.

In recent months, the band has collaborated with the likes of Leslie Sakey, i Neri Per Caso and Milius Johnson, while collaborations with a previous project, again with Artistic Director Rudy Fantine, have had names like Noah, Stevie Wonder, Mario Biondi, Adriano Celentano, Donald Lawrence and many others.
The exhibition, organized by the Luigi Bona Foundation, was made possible thanks to the support of the Municipality of Udine, the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Ministry of Culture and CiviBank, and thanks to the patronage of many supporters. , including including the Friuli Foundation. Entrance requires a ticket for only 5.00 euros, which can be purchased from 19:45 at Corte Morpurgo. In case of bad weather, the event will take place at the San Giorgio Theater in Udine.
