Ombre concealer, a name coined online – apparently on TikTok – is a makeup technique that helps cover up dark circles and gives an immediate lifting effect. Kylie Jenner is part of the success of this beauty trick that is quick and easy to replicate to brighten up your complexion and brighten up your eyes. To recreate an ombre concealer on your face, all you need is three different shades of foundation or liquid concealer to be applied to the bottom of the eye, and finally liquid blush of the desired intensity.

Simply apply three different products, from lightest to darkest, starting from the inner under-eye area. Along the central area we apply a corrector a few tones darker, and on the outer part we finish drawing pink blush. After applying different products, it is necessary to blend everything with a brush to create a uniform final effect. Ideally, blend from the inside to the temples, thus obtaining a raised cat-eye effect. The ombre concealer uses color correction to get the most out of your eyes while maintaining a natural complexion and playing with light and shade.
This technique, especially loved by Kylie Jenner, boasts 12 million views on TikTok and doesn’t require much makeup skills. “Using a peach tone (or tinted concealer) under the eyes has been used for years to help lighten and neutralize dark circles,” makeup artist Randy Orlinski told Allure. “This blush arrangement is known as draping and has evolved over the years but was very popular in the 1970s,” she added.
