Ryan Lochte recalls being one of only ten men to ever appear on the cover of Vogue.

The 12-time Olympic medalist joins tennis legend Serena Williams and soccer star Hope Solo on the cover of the fashion magazine’s June 2012 issue.

The cover features Lochte at the center, flanked by Williams and Solo in beachwear. The backdrop is a picturesque beach and clear blue sky. The cover is titled “Team USA: America’s Olympic Hopes: The Creative Geniuses Behind the Games.”

Ryan Lochte shared a picture of the cover on his Instagram and said he was delighted to be one of only 10 men to appear on the cover of Vogue, calling the experience “really cool.”

“Only 10 men have been on the cover of @voguemagazine and I’m one of them! So cool! #throwbackthursday #vogue #sandwich,” Lochte’s caption read.
