The movie script is based on the book. American Prometheus: Triumph and Tragedy by J. Robert Oppenheimer Kai Byrd and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Published in 2005, the book won the Pulitzer Prize. The film will be the fourth chapter in Nolan and Cillian Murphy’s already ongoing partnership, although it will be the first time the Irish actor will be playing the title character.
