Less and less until the final evening of the 95th edition. Let’s discover the presenters of the 2023 Oscars next to comedian Jimmy Kimmel!

While the excitement for the awards is spreading and all the fans are going over the lists of candidates to draw up their predictions, the Academy begins to outline more and more the evening of the awards Oscars 2023, naming the co-hosts that we will see on stage. The list starts from a recurring custom in the Academy’s traditions: the latest winners of the Best Actress/Best Supporting Actor award will present the awards evening (speaking of the last edition: this is Will Smith’s irony). Fresh from the Oscar for West Side Storyso, we’ll see Arianna DeBose on stage; next to her Troy Kotsurwinner for TAIL. Still returning from last year: the winner of the Best Short Film award, Riz Ahmed, Quest love which had won the statuette for Best Documentary, and above all Samuel L. Jacksonawarded with the Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Alongside the names that won the most prestigious film award last year, we find other stars. Emily Blunt, Gleen Close, Jennifer Connelly in the wake of the return of Top GunsDwayne Johnson last year in the cinema with Black AdamsMichael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors which will soon be in theaters with Creed III; and then again Melissa McCarthy, Janelle Monàe, Deepika Padukone, Zoe Saldana and Donnie Yen. There will be stars from the world of music, especially in view of the awarding of the prize for Best Original Song: super guests already announced (as well as in the competition) Rihanna, Lady Gaga And Diana Warren.

The Jimmy Kimmel TV show

Jimmy Kimmel, the comedian and TV presenter chosen to present the evening to try to raise the audience rating, will therefore have considerable company on stage at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. In America the awards will be broadcast on the ABC channel, starting at 8pm; in Italy, however, we will be able to see them on Sky channels, TV8 and in streaming on NOW. While waiting to immerse ourselves in the awards ceremony and really talk about cinema and movies, let’s start imagining the final evening of the Oscars 2023.
