Oscar 2023: the candidates, where to see them on TV and the guests

Streaming can be seen on NOW and you can watch them for free at Tv8. For Italy the night will start at 23.15 for the red carpet and at1.00 the awards ceremony will begin. Who votes for the winners

Who will vote for the winners of the Oscars 2023 will be the over 9 thousand members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, divided into 17 categories. They are all experts in the field and most fall into the category of actors. Then there are directors, screenwriters, editors, musicians, producers and many others. But each member has the right to belong to only one branch of these. One can become a member of AMPAS in two ways: either by being nominated for an Oscar or by being nominated by another member for one’s contributions to the film industry.

The guests

Finally, the Academy has decided that for the second consecutive year there will be no speech by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the night of the Oscars.
