‘PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie’ Will Top Sequel’s Box Office Over the Weekend

Animated sequel by Paramount Pictures PAW Patrol: Mighty Movie It’s expected to inject some theatrical life into the October box office, with projected North American ticket sales through October 1 of $21.7 million, according to new data from Box Office Pro.

This would be much earlier than the latest (2021) installment of the children’s franchise. PAW Patrol: The Moviewhich grossed $13.1 million in its weekend debut for a worldwide box office total of $144.3 million.

That total should be enough to beat out two other theatrical newcomers, 20th Century Studios. Creator ($19.8 million) and Lionsgate’s return to its successful horror genre with franchise newcomer Saw ($13.5 million). The film features the return of original nemesis Jigsaw (played by 81-year-old Tobin Bell) and Shawnee Smith, as well as a new cast of victims.
