The Saturday Night Live star says Kaia is “too young” to deal with his mental problems.
Cindy Crawford’s model daughter, Kaia Gerber, is better off without Pete Davidson, according to the comedian himself.
The brief romance of the Saturday Night Live star with the 18-year-old ended in January and Davidson, who previously dated Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale and Margaret Qualley, reveals that she simply did not want to burden her with her mental health problems.
“We were dating a few months and she is very young and I am going through a lot of things,” he tells Charlamagne Tha God in her online talk show. “She should be having fun and shouldn’t have to worry about some guy who has problems … It just wasn’t, like, the right place or the right time.”
And he responded to reports suggesting that Kaia’s parents were fiercely against romance, and insisted that Crawford and Rande Gerber were “really helpful.”
“Everyone is great,” he adds. “I cry a lot. I get into deep conversations. I care, for example, I like to meet your family and know who you are… I am very certain for certain people. ”
Davidson also insists that his former model is “beautiful” and “smarter” than him.
