Poor things, finally a TRAILER for Lanthimos with Emma Stone!

However, the stone comes from cinematic silence over two years, taking a hiatus after years of media presence, a hiatus during which she also became a mother. Fans of the American actress can’t wait to see her back at work in a film that, from the first steps and the first trailer, promises to surprise and which, according to her, she loved to shoot.

On the other hand, for those familiar with Lanthimos’s poetics, it’s not surprising to see an outrageous trailer, outrageous and sarcastic. On the other hand, the story based on the novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray is clearly unique.

The film follows the adventures of Bella Baxter, a young woman. brought back to life scientist Godwin Baxter (Wille Dafoe), who protects her while she wants to explore the world. Bella decides to elope with lawyer Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo) to travel across continents in search of freedom and equality that she didn’t have in her time.
