The event, which took place for the second time, is organized by Fattoria Pugliese Diffusa APS and is part of the ARA ARTIS – CASA TURRITA project, funded by the Notice of Common Places of the Region of Apulia and supported by the Municipality of Presicce Aquarica. .

The wonderful historic garden of Casa Turrita (via Gramsci 60) in the Presicce district will host an eclectic Italian singer-songwriter, painter, sculptor, designer and digital artist starting at 21:00.

Amalia Gré, stage name of Amalia Grezio, is an Italian singer, songwriter, designer and artist.

After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia with a degree in theater scenography, she moved to New York in 1993 for eight years, where she was followed by renowned jazz singer Betty Carter, who invited her to sing on “Sob’s” and “Blue Note”. . . . He has performed at numerous venues in New York, studied at the Black Nexxus School of Artists with Susan Batson (trainer and guru of Madonna, Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise) and at the same time continued his activities associated with the world of art and design, demonstrating his work as an artist and computer artist, and creates clothing collections for American boutiques. She returned to Italy in 2011 where she was a finalist in the Musicultura competition with the song “Io camino di notte only”, which was broadcast by Radio Deejay the following year to great success. In 2003, the debut album “Amalia Gre” was released. For critics and the public, this is a real revelation, and so much so that tours in the most significant theaters and festivals immediately follow. In 2008, the remix album Minuta vs Amalia Grè was released, created by the Swiss DJ group Minuta. In the same year, Amalia voices “Volerai”, the soundtrack to the Disney animated film “Tinker Bell”. He does not interrupt his painting activity, exhibiting his works of art in various exhibitions, including “In my secret place”, conceived by journalist and music critic Massimo Cotto. In November 2019, the album “Beige” was released, a collection of American standards with which she grew up in America, completely remastered and reworked by the artist. This is a tribute to the culture that strongly influenced her.
