MANTUA As the new cinematic season approaches, it will be possible to get a taste of what will soon be released in cinemas, with five nights of exclusive previews and premieres of films at the Arena Museo S. Sebastiano, which in the coming days will bring cinema nights to life under the stars of the convent of Palazzo S. Sebastiano , at Largo XXIV Maggio (side entrance). On Monday the 14th, The Worst Days will premiere, the sequel to Better Days, a film by Edoardo Leo and Massimiliano Bruno that, between irony and bitterness, explores the human soul and its suffering. Four new episodes, each dedicated to a party – Christmas, May 1, August 15 and Halloween – form the basis of an ensemble film with a team of well-established actors, which, in addition to directors, includes Anna Folietta, Renato Carpentieri, Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Giuseppe Battiston, Claudia Pandolfi, Anna Ferzetti, Neri Marcore, Ricky Memphis, Rocco Papaleo, Giovanni Storti
Thursday, September 17th will see the premiere of Dangerous Comedy, a tasty Italian James Bond movie starring Enrico Brignano and Gabriella Pession. Brignano plays a man who has dreamed of becoming a secret agent since the age of seven, and today is responsible for the security of La Rinascente, where he calls himself Mao’s agent. He will remain entangled in a series of crimes that underlie no less great misunderstandings.
Previews on Wednesday 23rd will conclude with the highly anticipated Jeanne du Barry, Favorite of the King, the film that opened the last Cannes Film Festival, a drama inspired by the life of Jeanne du Barry, the last mistress of Louis XV at the Court of Versailles after Madame de Pompadour, starring Johnny Depp, herself directed by Maiwenn and Louis Garrell.
All nominated films are in line with the Ministerial Film Revolution initiative, through which the public will be able to see the competing Italian and European films at a special price of €3.50, with the remainder reimbursed by the Ministry to cinemas.
