Official program of the sixth edition Not a film festivalinternational independent film festival, which will be held from 22 to 27 August 2023 in Santarcangelo di Romagna (RN).

The event will be held for the first time this year at Nòt a Cinema, an entire building located in the heart of the city (via Pascoli 4), where shows and master classes throughout the event.

Also confirmed Open air cinema And Castle Bar at the Spazio Sferisterio (Via Arrigo Faini 8), where aspiring filmmakers, veterans and cinephiles meet in the evenings starting at 18:00.

Nòt Film Fest 2023 will feature over 111 entries, of which 100 are previews, including feature films, short films, documentaries, music, experimental and brand films, from 27 countries different and selected from over 1000 applications received.

The jury will include representatives from the Sundance Film Festival and members of the Academy, who will contribute to making the small town of Emilia-Romagna a real international showcase for all participants.

Future: the part of time that awaits us is a direct consequence of everything that happened in the moment before. That is the future we look to this year, bolstered by a past that laid the groundwork and a present that sees the walls being built for the NÒT FILM FEST we want. Therefore, the future as a concentrate of all our dreams, our goals, objectives and results, the future of our Community and the city that accepts and welcomes us. The independent film industry has always been able to start a conversation on topics that the major film studios often overlook. Today, these conversations are more relevant than ever. From mental health to climate change, from isolation to social justice, the sixth edition of NÒT FILM FEST takes these themes through the avant-garde of contemporary cinema, showcasing new cinematic talents that stand out for their original storylines and individual style. . Keeping a close eye on what the future holds, NÒT FILM FEST is THE FUTURE AHEAD and we are proud to be able to step into that future with you.
