Prominent Honduran businessman and banker Jorge Bueso Arias died on Monday, September 18, at the age of 104, after being hospitalized for several days.
Relatives confirmed to Diario LA PRENSA that the businessman died in a private hospital in Tegucigalpa, where he had been suffering from pneumonia since Monday, September 11.
Jorge Bueso Arias dedicated much of his life to Honduras Banking Industry. On September 14, he celebrated his 104th birthday in the hospital.
He has a long and internationally recognized career and extensive experience in state and private banking.
