Over the past few years, DJ Khaled has had the opportunity to collaborate with Jordan Brand on multiple occasions. In a recent interview, the hip-hop star revealed some shocking news about what may be happening in the near future.
In 2022, DJ Khaled releases his latest collaboration with Jordan Brand. His “We The Best” Jordan 5 was designed by him and themed around the city of Miami. According to him, more products are in development.
In addition to showcasing his extensive sneaker collection, Khalid also talked about the direction he wants to take the brand. He’s designing his own sneakers and even admitted that he’s been talking to Michael Jordan himself about it.
“I’m talking to Michael Jordan right now,” Khalid said. “We’re just trying to figure out when we want to do it.”
Khaled’s collaboration with the Jordan 5 comes in a variety of colorways. He also collaborated with them on a pair of Jordan 3s, but that pair was exclusive to him.

During the 2022 All-Star Weekend, Khalid decided to show the world that he could complete the Skills Challenge. He successfully dribbled around all obstacles, but when it came time to shoot, he came up empty. Khalid performed very well and hit the free throw on his second try.
