Red Cross Invites to All-Mexico Edition of Race to Save Lives

On September 10, the Red Cross will hold a “Todo México Salvando Vidas” contest to raise funds.

Jalisco representative Miguel Ángel Domínguez Morales explained that they are committed to promoting sports, encouraging family confidence and strengthening a spirit of solidarity.

“Part of signing up for this competition is a donation that will help us continue our humanitarian mission to protect the health and lives of people in Jalisco. In the 2023 event, we have set ourselves the challenge to The 6,000 contestants gathered people,” said Miguel Angel Dominguez Morales, representative of the Red Cross Jalisco state.

The race course will be 5km and 10km, and there will be a pet-friendly walk for the fourth edition. Dogs can participate with their families at no extra cost, and a vest will be given away as part of the race uniform.

“Besides a bag of croquettes, there’s another set of prizes for the first 6 puppies,” he commented.

The 5km and 10km races cost 350 pesos and the pet friendly walk is 300 pesos.

“We want to give it a fraternity, family, party vibe, with music facilities, major sweepstakes, which means we’re trying to make our careers stand out,” he said.

Red Cross treats 153 gastroenteritis patients in Guadalajara due to heatwave

The Mexican Red Cross delegation in Guadalajara treated 153 cases of gastroenteritis caused by intense heat waves during April, May and June.
