Finally last Tuesday the show made its debut in Piazza Garibaldi with the Marvel film “Black Panther – Wakanda Forever”.
The Cineforum in Piazza Garibaldi … finally made its debut in Piazza Garibaldi! On Tuesday 20 June, the review “Ma ché film la vita!”, organized by the Concomercio Lecco, Nuovo Cinema Aquilon and the municipality of Lecco, was finally able to make its debut in its original location. In fact, after 4 appointments held at the Cinema Nuevo Aquilon, the fifth film in the program – “Black Panther – Wakanda Forever” was finally screened, thanks to favorable weather, outside in the center of Lecco. Marvel’s vision of the film was preceded by a key introduction by Gian Luca Pisacane.
The sixth and final appointment with Cineforum is scheduled for Tuesday with “Air,” directed by and starring Ben Affleck. At the center is the story of shoe salesman Sonny Vaccaro (played by Matt Damon), who guided Nike into signing the greatest basketball player of all time: Michael Jordan. A film that recounts the extraordinary rise of a brand that certainly wasn’t dominant in the 1980s.
The start of the screening of “Air” – indicated by several films in the running for the main awards related to the 2023 season, mainly the Oscars and Golden Globes – is scheduled for around 9.30am depending on the lighting conditions in the piazza.
