So Benjamin Mascolo began his long monologue before going back in time to remember the moment when he decided to start a new life and save himself.
On June 18, 2022, at 4:30 am, I was lying on the floor looking at the wall and hit rock bottom. I was sure that no one would come to save me, because that night was the last time I took drugs. The next day, before my 29th birthday, I decided to get sober, I put mental health first because to feel good on the outside, you need to feel good on the inside.
The artist emphasized the importance of life: “We must remember that as long as we are breathing, we can make our life a masterpiece. This is how I became closer to my family. I decided to honestly keep my word again.
