As expected by VelvetMusic, the new Rolling Stones album is presented today, the first after 18 years of waiting

The group’s promotional campaign started right from the subway and this morning, very early, sent dozens of people to work. Hackney Central Station stickers, banners and the logo of the new album, literally changing the look of the entire venue.
A couple of weeks ago, the group placed an advertisement for a non-existent glass factory, christened specifically Hackney Diamonds in the local newspaper Hackeny Gazette. It was the official demonstration that something really important was boiling in the band’s cauldron.
The disc logo is a classic Lips Rolling Stones with an inscription We dream big. The new record will be the band’s first album of original material since the album’s release. in the big bang, released in 2005.
Event in the theater
This time without a presentation to journalists, as in 1968, when they presented the legendary album, which included Sympathy for the Devil AND Street Fighter Mick Jagger smashed cream pie in Brian Jones’ face. After that, a real hell broke out: a battle for cakes and food, in which all members of the group took part.

Hackney Diamonds is the band’s completely unreleased twenty-fourth studio album. His gestation began before the pandemic, in 2020, when Charlie Watts was still in the studio with the band, who passed away in 2021. The album was completed on January 23, shortly before the band began rehearsals for their world tour, which ended a few days ago. The album will be released on October 20th.

The album contains 12 songs, three of which feature the band’s founding drummer, whose first single will be Wickedagain with Watts on drums.
Keith Richards reacted almost angrily when asked why the new album: “This is what we do, we are musicians… we had a job, but above all a passion. When we have something to say, we write and compose. Live performance is the Holy Grail, the highest achievement. But the studio is the place where we can freely express our opinion and exchange ideas. This is a great place for a group to work. We are inside, and the rest of the world is without eggs … “

Keith Richards emphasized this aspect with his own joke: “We compose a lot, record properly, but when it comes to offering our music to the public, we can just cross our fingers.”
During the event, the group showed a video Wicked starring Sydney Sweeney, actress Euphoria AND White Lotuswho sits in the back seat of a red convertible passing Stones billboards in Los Angeles.
Inside the theater, a select few fans checked into the Stones Club, outside of the large crowd. It’s almost obvious that the band’s new world tour will be held in honor of the album’s launch, the details of which should be announced soon…
