Romantic comedy by Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell has received its first trailer

Anyone But You, the upcoming romantic comedy starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, has released its first trailer.

Directed by Will Gluck, the film stars Sweeney and Powell as two frenemies who find themselves drawn back into each other’s lives due to a mutual friend’s wedding in Australia.

However, when they pretend to be a couple for their own personal reasons, the two enemies soon turn into lovers.

“Let’s just tell everyone we’re in this together,” Sweeney’s character says in the new teaser. “It can be quite fun.”

“We have no way of convincing anyone that we really like each other,” Powell replies, although it soon becomes clear that their chemistry is undeniable.

Other cast members include Barbie’s Alexandra Shipp, Star Trek: Picard’s Michelle Hurd, Wildlife’s Rachel Griffiths, Secret Invasion’s Dermot Mulroney and Bryan Brown.

Anyone But You was originally scheduled to be released in UK and US cinemas on December 15, but fans will now have to wait a little longer as that date has been pushed back.

It will now hit UK cinemas on December 26th and will be released in the US on December 22nd.

Elsewhere, Sweeney will play future Spider-Woman Julia Carpenter in the upcoming Sony/Marvel film Madame Web, she will also star alongside Julianne Moore in the new thriller Valley of Echoes on Apple TV+, and will also star in and produce a remake of the sci-fi science fiction film from 1968. science fiction film “Barbarella”.

Meanwhile, Powell is set to reunite with “Everybody Wants Some!!” director Richard Linklater for the upcoming noir comedy The Hitman.
