Top football leagues around the world saw plenty of goals and drama over the weekend. In the Premier League, Manchester City and Chelsea played a classic 4-4 at Stamford Bridge, while Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United won. Wolves came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United lost to Bournemouth.

In La Liga, Real Madrid defeated Valencia with five goals, with Vinicius and Rodrygo scoring one goal each. Girona maintained their brilliant form with another win and moved top of the table. Barcelona won the match against Alaves thanks to Robert Lewandowski. Harry Kane was the star again for Bayern Munich as they beat Heidenheim 4-2 but fell behind Bayer Leverkusen in the standings, who beat Union Berlin 4-0.

Inter Milan moved to the top of Serie A with a win over Frosinone, while Paris Saint-Germain returned to the top of Ligue 1 thanks to Kylian Mbappe’s hat-trick.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo added to his tally in the Saudi Professional League with another goal for Al Nasr.
