Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan movie set for release in March 2025

Ryan Coogler has set a date to return to movie theaters. Warner Bros. has confirmed that the project, starring Michael B. Jordan, will be released on March 7, 2025, and will be released on Imax.

The film is untitled, but per Coogler’s form, it’s been described as an event film. Coogler produces via Proximity Media along with Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. Composer Ludwig Göransson, one of Coogler’s frequent collaborators, will executive produce alongside Rebecca Cho and Will Greenfield.Earlier this month, Goransson won an Oscar for best score for the Christopher Nolan film Oppenheimer, Coogler also won an Oscar for his work black panther.

Warner Bros. acquired the project in February after a bidding war, and under a unique deal, Coogler will regain some rights to the project a few years later. Coogler is considering a production date in New Orleans this spring.

Coogler revived his career with the “Rocky” franchise and became one of Hollywood’s most popular directors. creed in 2015 and led the historic black panther, released in 2018.He recently directed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever For Marvel Studios.He launched his career with Indie Darlings fruitwell stationwhich stars Jordan, who has played roles in all of his directorial efforts.
