One of the hottest and most mysterious films in production has found a home at Warner Bros.
The film is a secret project for Ryan Coogler, who wrote, directed and stars his long-time collaborator Michael B. Jordan. Coogler produces through his company Proximity Media, along with Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian.
After three weeks of interest from several studios, Warner Bros. emerged victorious, beating out Universal Pictures in the final round. The film reunites Coogler and Jordan, who first came to prominence in Coogler’s 2013 directorial debut. Fruitvale Station He wrote it on the spec. This time around, the studio is looking for opportunities to work with the star writer on his latest work.
