Amazon has released the trailer for Garth Davis’ upcoming dystopian drama The Enemy, starring Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal.

Directed by Garth Davis, best known for his 2016 Oscar-nominated film. A lion, trailer movie depicts two Irish actors as a married couple living in dystopian future the action takes place in forty years and the struggle with the consequences of the ecological crisis.
What will be discussed Enemy?
According to the official synopsis, Ronan’s Henrietta and Mescal’s Junior lead a quiet life in an isolated patch of ancestral land. However, their daily routine is disrupted by the arrival of an unexpected guest, Terrence, played by Aaron Pierre. This newcomer puts forward a proposal that starts a chain of events that begins with Junior going into space for several years to implement a program that will help humanity escape life on a collapsing Earth, followed by Black mirror featuring a robotic version from Junior. The film explores deep themes and questions about the essence of humanity and the concept of artificial humanity.
In an interview with IndieWire (carried out before SAG-AFTRA strike), Mescal explained his approach to casting roles, expressing a preference for projects ranging from big-budget franchises like the upcoming film epic Ridley Scott, Gladiator 2 to independent productions such as After the sun which earned him an Oscar nomination.
The screenplay was written by Davis and the author of the novel, Reid, with whom he previously collaborated. Charlie Kaufman for adaptation I’m thinking about ending things. Enemy is a collaboration between Amazon Studios and Anonymous Content and is produced by Davis, Emile Sherman and Ian Canning.
