The key to “The Last Dance” is timing. It’s impressive storytelling, but it’s no coincidence that just when LeBron James turned the “GOAT” talk into a legitimate debate, Michael Jordan ended up giving it the green light. “The Last Dance” landed during the early days of the pandemic when people were feeling cooped up at home and many were missing out on sports, another perfect time for it to become this Topics among sports fans.

It also mythologized Jordan and was out of step with many former Bulls players (especially Scottie Pippen). Who called “The Last Dance” condescending? He and the other players were nothing more than props for Jordan.

Now, Pippen and fellow former Bulls players Horace Grant and Luke Longley are touring Australia to set the record straight to some fans, calling their speaking engagements the “No Bulls” tour.

Here’s what Grant had to say at the NBL24 Awards (Australian Basketball League) week: From NBC Sports Chicago.

“A lot of people really want to ask us questions about that bulls*** documentary, but just come out and buy a ticket and you’re going to hear a lot.”

I’ll watch it. More headliners are expected on this tour. The bigger question is, will they bring this tour to the United States? Are there many Jordan fanatics out there who still feel the need to protect his legacy?
