Scottie Pippen talks Jordan’s ‘last dance’ with Bulls teammates

Scottie Pippen has more to say about his time as part of one of the NBA’s greatest dynasties, so he’ll join former teammates Horace Grant and Luke Longley Luc Longley on the Bullless Journey. A speaking event will be held on Friday (February 23) at MyState Bank Arena in Tasmania, Australia.

The tour is an unabashed attempt by the championship winners to tell the story of their time playing for the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan. The basketball icon told his version of events in the 2020 documentary series The Last Dance. This multi-part project examines his legacy on and off the court and how he became a cross-generational sports figure.

Pippen had previously attempted to film the documentary, expressing his dissatisfaction with playing with Jordan. “The second episode focuses on my difficult upbringing and unlikely path to the NBA, and the story returns to MJ and his determination to win,” he wrote. “I was nothing more than a prop. He called me ‘the best teammate ever.’ He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried,” he wrote in his 2021 book “Unguarded.” .

The men spoke at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Saturday (February 24) and are scheduled to take the stage at Sydney’s ICC Aware Super Theater on February 27. According to Ticketek, tickets for the additional dates are on pre-sale for release on December 19th, with general release the following day.
