Scottie Pippen begins his highly anticipated Bulls-less tour. The tour was born out of Pippen’s desire to reconnect with fans and was designed to lead fans to learn more about the legendary Chicago Bulls dynasty of the 1990s. Some members of the NBA community and analysts viewed the tour as a backlash against what was depicted in the “Last Dance” documentary series. Perhaps because of his dissatisfaction with the documentary and his seemingly long-standing rift with former teammate Jordan, critics and fans alike have questioned the inspiration behind Pippen’s latest effort. The champion joins forces with Luc Longley and Horace Grant for the “No Bull” tour, which tells the untold stories behind the Chicago Bulls’ triumphs of the ’90s. In partnership with the Australian National Basketball League, the tour begins in Tasmania and will run in Melbourne and Sydney.

The tour comes on the heels of recent controversies involving the “Last Dance” franchise. Many have criticized the show’s portrayal of former Bulls general manager Jerry Krause, who could have led to fans booing Krause during the Bulls’ Ring of Honor ceremony.
