Screen Rant is pleased to share a preview video of the features of Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. The first Hotel Transylvania was introduced in 2012 and spawned a series of films, several short films and a television series. The first three films were distributed by Sony, but Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is distributed by Amazon Studios.

In “Hotel Transylvania: Transformation”, Dracula is planning his retirement and wants to leave Mavis and Johnny’s hotel, but has second thoughts when Johnny starts telling him about his renovation plans. Dracula lies about a monster law that prevents a person from owning a hotel. While Johnny is depressed, Van Helsing offers a solution: he has a beam capable of turning Johnny into a monster, which the young man enthusiastically welcomes. Once Dracula finds out about this, he quickly tries to return Johnny to normal, but ends up transforming into a human and breaking the beam. In order to restore things to the way they were meant to be, Dracula and Johnny go on a mission to restore the ray and their relationship, along with other monster-turned-humans.

Note. This documentary was filmed prior to the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike and the film discussed here would not exist without the work of writers and actors belonging to WGA and SAG-AFTRA.
