Selena Gomez cheerfully ducked behind the curtain after spilling soda on her pants.
Gomez, 31, said on Instagram on Monday, October 2, that she may have stained her pants. “I spilled cocaine on my pants,” she captioned a photo of herself hiding behind curtains.
In the photo, Gomez poked her head out from behind closed curtains and sat next to towels on the floor and a Louis Vuitton gym bag. She pouted and glanced at the room with her glamorous full face and hairstyle.
This isn’t the first time Gomez has laughed off a gaffe. In August, she was turned into a meme for looking into the distance while wrapped in a woven sarape blanket. One fan joked that she looked like “a horror movie character sitting in the back of an ambulance after dying.” Another captioned the photo: “My mom just sent me this old photo of my abuela when she still lived in Mexico. This was done during a year without rain.”

Gomez laughed off the comments herself and even shared her favorite fan-made captions on her Instagram Story.
Last month, Gomez poked fun at herself again in an Instagram video. She spoke the lyrics to her latest hit, “Single Coming Soon,” which she released in August, while applying makeup from her brand, Rare Beauty lip gloss. Suddenly the music stopped and Gomez had to write the rest of the lyrics. She hesitated and looked to the side, wondering what the next words would be.
After thinking about the lyrics, she sang “When I Break the News,” bursting out laughing as the voices in the background laughed along with her.
“Instagram vs reality,” she captioned the post. Friends and fans rushed to praise the actress in the comments.
“Real,” Rare Beauty wrote. Jonathan Van Ness commented: “Great!!” More fans joked with Gomez and added laughing emojis.
