Only a week has passed since the first day of autumn, but Selena Gomez is already feeling the spirit of the holiday.
The superstar singer, actor, producer and businesswoman is hosting a new special on the Food Network.
“Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays,” a take on Gomez’s hit HBO Max home cooking series “Selena + Chef,” debuts November 30 at 8 p.m. on Food Network.
In the four-part Food Network special, Gomez will invite celebrity chefs into her home to showcase their favorite holiday dishes. Eric Adjepong, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon and Claudette Zepeda are the chefs who will be cooking with the superstar.
“Holidays have always meant a lot to me. It was an honor to have these amazing chefs in my kitchen to talk about their favorite dishes and what makes the holidays special for them,” Gomez said in a statement to the magazine. Diversity.
Over four episodes, the celebrity chefs will show Gomez and her best friend Raquel Stevens how they use food to make the holiday season unforgettable. Dad Gomez, Nana and sister Grace will also make this event a real family celebration.
In Guarnaschelli’s Selena + Alex episode, the duo cooks up roast beef and mashed potatoes in preparation for a tree trimming party. At Selena + Michael, Gomez and Simon will cook a steak and lobster Christmas dinner. In Selena + Claudette, Zepeda prepares a Mexican tamale feast. And at Selena + Erica, they’re ringing in the New Year with a brunch that includes shrimp and banana grits and mallow pudding.

Home for the Holidays is one of two new Food Network series starring Gomez. Gomez’s next series will debut in 2024 and will see her visit other chefs’ kitchens to try and cook their most popular dishes. Gomez’s previous cooking series are so popular that they spawned a cooking collection at Always Pan.
“Home for the Holidays” can also be streamed on Max, where her series “Selena + Chef” airs.
