Serena Williams is ready to get back in shape and dominate in the gym! After becoming a mother of two in August 2023, the 42-year-old athlete has been relaxing her body and slowly rebuilding her workout routine.

To document the process, Williams began sharing her routine with her 17 million Instagram followers, recording videos of her getting back into the gym at a pace that suited her. In her latest video, the tennis champ showed her followers how she now performs squats using lighter weights than usual, telling viewers: “Okay, I’m going to start over. “That’s not me My usual weight, but it will work until I get back to the weight I need to be. “

Wearing all-black workout gear, with her blond blonde braids pulled back into a high ponytail, Williams demonstrated her new workout routine to the soundtrack of Do’s “My Name Is,” before telling the audience to “squat” feels good”.

The tennis pro’s followers loved seeing her taking her time in the gym after giving birth, and it seemed to inspire other new moms to do the same. “You are a strong woman 👠🔥🔥🔥🙌,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “I love that you’re back to working out!!!”

Williams is relaxing into her daily routine just five months after giving birth to her second daughter, Adira River. Adira River is the Wimbledon champion’s second child with her tech husband Alexis Ohanian. The couple also welcomed another daughter, Alexis Olympia, in 2017.
