Serena Williams reacts to Donatella Versace calling her an ‘iconic Versace woman’ on British Vogue special edition cover

Serena Williams recently reacted to famed Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace praising her and other “iconic Versace women” for being featured in the UK’s The cover of a special edition of Vogue.

Under the leadership of outgoing editor Edward Enninful, the last issue of British Vogue paid a remarkable tribute to the 40 influential women with whom he worked.

The cover features actors, supermodels, singers and Hollywood celebrities including Dua Lipa, Kate Moss, Selma Blair, Simon Ashley, Precious Lee, Christy Turlington , Maya Jama and Serena Williams, among others.

In light of the current issue of British Vogue cover, Donatella Versace took to social media to share a collection of some of the influencers who have graced the cover in the past and adorned Versace designs Photos of women. Shown in these photos is the actual cover itself.

Donatella expressed her admiration for the “amazing” looks of Serena Williams, actress Simone Ashley and model Precious Lee. The 68-year-old also congratulated Edward Enninful on his “brilliant career” as editor-in-chief of British Vogue.

In response, Williams Champion retweeted Versace’s post on social media, specifically a photo of her with American actress Selma Blair.
