Serena Williams wows daughter Olympia in CFDA dress

In addition to her long career as a tennis star, serena williams She has also earned a reputation in the fashion industry.

Williams, 42, looked radiant on the red carpet at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards on Monday, November 6. She wore a black sequined Thom Browne gown with dramatic puff sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a long train.

Williams accessorized the dazzling look with a stunning diamond necklace, diamond earrings and, of course, her huge engagement ring.

To look glamorous, she parted her hair in the middle and tied it into a low bun. Her makeup was simple yet elegant with pink blush, black eyeliner and thick lashes.

Williams catches up enter hollywood on the red carpet and revealed what her 6-year-old daughter Olympia thought of her look.

“You knew she was a fashionista,” Williams said. “She saw the dress and it took her breath away. She said, ‘Mom, you look so beautiful! “It feels really good.” ”

Williams also admitted that while she was excited to attend the fashion awards show, she wasn’t immune to feeling “mom guilt.”

“I’m kind of sad. I’m causing mom guilt. Mom guilt is real and it’s crazy, but it’s okay – it’s okay, I should go out for a night,” Williams told the same reporter.

At Monday’s ceremony, Williams received the Style Icon Award in recognition of her style on and off the tennis court.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I was different, so I explored fashion and style as a way to differentiate myself,” Williams told the audience while accepting the award.

“For me, in many ways, the tennis court became my runway and the U.S. Open was my own New York Fashion Week.”

Williams went on to explain that incorporating her unique style into traditional tennis attire is a way for her to express “my personality and my confidence and, most importantly, my culture.”
