The Carrefour Alice Grosseto came away with a heavy 11-2 defeat from the Serie B derby with the Blue Factor Castiglione. The boys led for the occasion by Marco Ciupi were punished excessively in a match that was balanced for long stretches. The quintet from Castiglione, coached by Enrico Mariotti, took the lead in the 4th minute through Guarguaglini, and managed to go into the break at 3-0, after scoring two goals in the 24th minute within thirty seconds.
In the second half Lorenzo Alfieri reopened the match in the 5th minute, but Onori brought Castiglione back three goals clear in the eighth.
The match definitively took the road to Castiglione della Pescaia in the 11th minute: Blue Factor scored four goals in the space of 57 seconds. A blackout that Carrefour Alice paid dearly for, finding itself from 4-1 to 8-1. Everything became easy for the biancocelesti and only at 10-1 did the second goal for the red and white arrive, signed by Leonardo Ciupi. Thirty seconds from the end, however, the former Luca Mantovani brought the scores to 11. In the standings Grosseto remains penultimate after seven days with 4 points, followed by Forte dei Marmi with 1.
