Shaddell Sanders boldly claims he’s just like NFL legends Tom Brady and Mike Vick

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shaddell Sanders made a bold comparison as he remains a standout college football star.

The son of NFL legend Deion Sanders is making waves this season with his father as coach.

Impressive wins to start the year were followed by losses to Stanford, UCLA and Oregon State in three of their last four games.

Still, Scheidel’s influence was enormous. He’s already seen LeBron James and DJ Khaled showing off his celebrations by imitating his iconic watch.

And before you talk about his ability on the field, he has thrown for 2,882 yards, 24 touchdowns and three interceptions while also adding three rushing touchdowns.

Asked in an interview who he might compare himself to, Sander happily made the bold statement.

“Well, I would say it’s a mixture because I’m able to stay in the pocket and pass the ball,” he told complex.

“I can make plays like Brady, but I can also extend the game and if it doesn’t, I can take it like Vick. So it depends.

“It’s funny, every time a situation comes up in the game, they’re like, ‘Hey, you gotta be Vick tonight. You gotta be Mike Vick tonight.’

“So that’s when we got the legs involved.

“But I say it’s a mixture of a lot of great quarterbacks, they all have different skill sets. So that’s why I feel like I’m special in what I bring to the table. I want to stay in the pocket, I want to throw Like Tom, but sometimes those opportunities don’t exist.”

Of course, Brady’s multiple Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have led him to be considered one of the greatest players of all time.

Vick didn’t win a Super Bowl but starred for the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons, using his two-legged playmaking ability to help the football field.

Meanwhile, Sanders isn’t fazed by some of the hate directed at him as an NFL pro.

“I love it. I love the hate. I love them being angry,” he added.

“If they’re not talking about what you’re doing, then you don’t matter. So knowing that people hate you means you’re doing something right.”
