According to Thunder basketball operations member Royce Young, he is the player in NBA history who has scored at least 25 points and two steals in ten consecutive games.

In the Thunder’s victory over the Knicks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 36 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. I shot 23-13 from the field, 2-5 from three, and 8-9 from the free throw line. Since the 1973-74 season, only Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson have accomplished this feat.

So far, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 31.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists and a league-leading 2.8 steals per game. He averaged 54.2% shooting from the field, 29.7% from the three-point line, and 91% from the free throw line.

He appeared in 27 games with the team, playing just over 34 minutes per game. The Thunder sit in third place in the Western Conference standings behind Gilgeous-Alexander with a 20-9 record. They have won seven of their last ten games. As it stands, they are only two and a half games behind the Western Conference-leading Minnesota Timberwolves and one and a half games behind the second-seeded Denver Nuggets.
