Sharon Stone remembers her friend Paul Reubens: “He was an example of love”
“I will always be grateful for his precious and tender friendship,” the actress wrote on social media about her colleague who recently passed away from cancer.
Sharon Stone reminded a friend and colleague of a touching post on Instagram. Paul Reubens – born Paul Rubenfeld – disappeared July 30after years of struggle with cancer.
“Paul Reubens was a close friend of mine. He, like his family, had a great intellect who gave a lot to our country. There were times when Paul was misunderstood and attacked by those who were not so brave or generous towards this world. but continued to be joyful, generous and good“, the actress wrote, adding a heart to a photo with a colleague with whom she starred in the series in 2018. mosaicin which Reubens played JC Schiffer, Olivia Lake’s best friend, played by Sharon Stone.
“Paul Reubens was an example of love and modesty. i will be forever grateful for her precious and tender friendship. My condolences to friends and family,” Sharon Stone concluded.

Paul Reubens passed away July 30, 2023 cancer with whom he struggled for some time. The actor who entertained millions of people around the world with his character Pee Wee HermanOn August 27, he would have turned 71 years old.
The announcement of his death was made via social media directly on the actor’s Instagram profile: “Last night we said goodbye to Paul Reubens, the iconic American actor, comedian, writer and producer whose beloved character Pee-wee Herman has delighted generations of children and adults with his positivity , his quirkiness and his belief in the importance of kindness. Paul bravely and confidentially battled cancer for many years. with perseverance and humour. He was extraordinarily talented and will forever remain in the comic pantheon and in our hearts as a precious friend and a man of remarkable character and generosity of spirit.”
Instagram also posted a quote from Rubens himself dedicated to fans: “Please Please accept my apologies for not publicizing what I have experienced over the past six years.. I have always felt great love and respect from my friends, fans and supporters. I loved you all very much and loved to draw for you.”
Paul Rubens career
Paul Reubens was born in Peekskill, New York on August 27, 1952. As a child, he studied at The Ringling Brothers and the Barnum and Bailey Circusto visit first Sarasota High School and then Boston University. During these years, he also began acting inAsolo Theaterparticipation in various comedies.
Then the actor was accepted California Institute of the Artsand by 1970 joined the company earthlings in Los Angeles. In 1980 Rubens launched The Pee Wee Herman Show, based on the character of the same name, thanks to which he later became popular: this character then appeared on television until 1990.

In 2016, Paul Reubens, who has starred in numerous films and TV series throughout his life, including the film Mystery men and series 30 Rock – he returned to portray his character in the film Pee Wee’s Big Holidayand took part in the television series Gothamwhere he played the father of young Oswald Cobblepot, a role he had already played in the 1992 film Batman Returns.
